On Monday 19th September 2022, the Queen’s funeral service will be shown live at St John’s Church Hall, Grove. We expect the service to start at 11am. All members of our local church congregations and the community are welcome to attend.
Following the sad news of the death of Her Majesty the Queen, we will be opening Grove Parish Church for those who wish to spend time in prayer and reflection or light a candle. A Book of Condolence is available to sign in the Foyer.
The Parish Church will be open 10am to 4pm Friday 9th to Monday 19th. Service times are as usual on Sunday, 08:00am, 10.00am and 6:00pm. All are welcome.
Gracious God, we give thanks for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth, for her faith and her dedication to duty. Bless our nation as we mourn her death and may her example continue to inspire us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
God of love, We thank you for the life of The Queen, for her service to our nation, and for her faith in you. Be close to all of us who mourn, that we may we find comfort and hope in your love, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Everlasting God, we pray for our new King. Bless his reign and the life of our nation.
