Children and young people are an integral part of our worshipping community.
We have a church toddler group that meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:15am.
Children are warmly welcomed into the first part of each Sunday 10:15am service and have opportunities to take part, for example helping on the tech rota, reading, and making a joyful noise with tambourines and other small instruments!
During the Sunday services there is a space in our church hall for families with under 2s. The service is live-streamed to TV in the hall, so parents can still engage with it.
In addition, we run three other groups on Sundays as part of our School Club: Bubbles for pre-school children, Oasis for primary aged children, and Pathfinders for those at secondary school. Again, this is led by committed volunteers with age-appropriate worship, craft and activities.
We also run a Sunday night youth group on Sunday evenings for Year 8s and above, giving young people the opportunity to reflect on life and faith together.
During the year we also hold family events such as messy church, Sunday club picnic, and a Christmas Crib service.
