We were one of the four founding churches of Cornerstone in 1995, a Christian bookshop and cafe in Grove. It is an independent charity with board members and ongoing financial support provided by the four churches.
All staff are committed Christians or in sympathy with Cornerstone’s Christian ethos, and most volunteers come from the four churches in Grove. Cornerstone has a reputation for quality food and a friendly welcome. It won the CRT 2023 Bookshop of the Year award.
It is also used as a meeting place and we regularly hold events there.
A Tea Party is held 2-3pm on the 3rd Saturday in each month for St John’s congregation.
