We are pleased to announce that the Christian Bookshop of the year was awarded recently to The Cornerstone in Grove. The Cornerstone Christian book shop and cafe is run by 4 churches in Grove including our church, St John’s. It was nominated by a Christian book rep who was impressed by the work that Cornerstone does and the range of activities and number of customers, particularly over the tricky period following the pandemic. Special mention goes to the Cornerstone manager, Sarah, who along with the kitchen manager, cooks and many volunteers keep the Cornerstone mission alive. Cornerstone shall be a place where all will be welcomed and valued for who they are, not for what they can do and where God shall be glorified in our dealings with each other! Cornerstone.
