This autumn we will be celebrating God’s generosity to us, considering more fully his generosity and our response to it.
The Church does not have outside funding. Everything we do is funded solely by church members. Currently, we are spending more than we receive in income. Everyone is in a different position, but we all need to consider what we can do to help.
If you are a member of St Johns and are not already giving regularly to the church, we would ask you to consider committing to doing this. This can be done through the Parish Giving Scheme. (There are also forms available on the welcome table).
There will be a Gift Day on Sunday 5th October, when we ask you to prayerfully consider making a one-off gift or increasing your regular giving or starting to give regularly.
Please place gifts in an envelope marked ‘Gift Day’ and include your name if you are a taxpayer. Alternatively, you can donate online to the church bank account (08-92-99 65094983 ) with the reference ‘Gift Day’.
