It’s three years this month since the earthquake in Nepal and many people, especially in remote mountainous regions, are still living in temporary accommodation.
Daniel, Becky and the children went trekking during the holiday and say ‘we passed through many villages which seemed to be just starting the rebuilding process, and stayed in two villages where nothing survived the earthquake. Many houses we saw were built from corrugated iron and wood but building is starting everywhere and we were glad to see that the rebuilding seems to be being done well with iron reinforcement rods being used.’
Please continue to pray for the people of Nepal.
Could you also pray for the family over the next few months, as they prepare to return to the UK in June after ten and a half years in Nepal. Pray especially for the children as they adjust to the changes.
