Wednesday evening prayers 8-8:15pm will be starting on Zoom on 12th March and continuing on a weekly basis until 7th May, taking us up to the interview date. We hope as many people as possible will join us to pray together for this important appointment process.

Associate Vicar vacancy prayer for Vale Benefice
Father God, we come before you as your people
in the name of your Son and our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We thank you for the rich blessings you have given us
and bring to you our prayers and requests
as we continue through this season
of vacancy and discernment in our benefice.
Pour out your Spirit on us,
filling our lives and our communities
in Grove, Hanney, East Challow and Denchworth.
Open our eyes to the future you have in store for us.
Give us wisdom, flexibility, courage and confidence
to follow the path you set before us.
Guide us through the plans and processes
of choosing an associate vicar to support and help grow our
vision and ministry in our churches and communities.
Give grace and discernment especially to our vicar Alec and
our parish representatives Rachel, Colin & Frances,
Jeff & Liz, Stuart & Chris, Maggie & Richard.
We ask you to prepare the person you are calling here.
Speak in their heart and direct their thinking towards us.
Let them hear your call and respond with joy.
